I invite you to reconnect with the wild - with the source.
Two Horse was formed in 1995. Years of Inipi Ceremony
changed my focus from oil painting and stained glass to
the old crafts: leather, jewelry and painting tipis. I
opened Two Horse in Saranac Lake in 2000 after years
of porta-pottys, tents and living on the road. Since then,
I've expanded to include local Adirondack artisans,
modern crafts that reflect a love and respect for nature,
and of course, my love of horses. My goal is to keep the
old crafts and spirituality alive, and to educate, entertain,
and inspire. We are all connected.
Leather is a biodegradable, renewable resource. Most
hides are obtained as a direct result of local forest herd
management or as a by-product of food procurement.
Endangered or protected species are never sold at Two
Horse. If your views are not the same as mine, I ask you
to respect an alternate ideology. Consider this unique
place as a sojourn into our shared wild history.
